When to use this calculator
Use this calculator when you are comparing candidate business, brand or project names and want both numerology systems side by side. It does not check trademarks, domains or customer appeal, so use it as one input, not a decision tool.
How it is calculated
- Enter the name exactly as it will be written, spaces included.
- The tool converts each letter with the Pythagorean 1 to 9 table.
- It repeats the process with the Chaldean 1 to 8 table.
- Each total is reduced to a single digit and shown with a short theme.
Worked example
Input: Blue Harbor Coffee
Working: Pythagorean total 79, then 7 + 9 = 16, then 1 + 6 = 7. Chaldean total 71, then 7 + 1 = 8.
Result: Pythagorean 7, Chaldean 8
Common mistakes
- Calculating the legal entity name when customers see a shorter brand name, or the reverse.
- Choosing a name only for its number and ignoring trademark, pronunciation and search visibility.
- Comparing a Pythagorean result with a Chaldean one as if they were the same scale.
