When to use this calculator
Use this calculator when you want a quick reading based on only the day of the month you were born. It is a minor number in most charts and is usually read as a supporting talent next to the life path number.
How it is calculated
- Take the day of the month (1 to 31).
- If it is a single digit, that digit is the birthday number.
- If it has two digits, add them. Keep the result if it is 11 or 22.
- Otherwise reduce again until one digit remains.
Worked example
Input: Born on the 22nd, the 29th and the 14th
Working: The 22nd stays 22 because it is a master number. The 29th becomes 2 + 9 = 11, a master number. The 14th becomes 1 + 4 = 5.
Result: Birthday numbers 22, 11 and 5
Common mistakes
- Combining the day with the month and year; that gives the life path number, not the birthday number.
- Reducing 11 or 22 to 2 or 4 when the master number is wanted.
- Treating a master-number birthday as a prediction rather than a theme to reflect on.
Results are symbolic and meant for reflection, not prediction. Calculation rules and sources are on the methodology page.
