What the Birthday Number shows
The Birthday number is the easiest number to find and the narrowest in meaning. Numerologists read it as a specific gift or skill that supports your Life Path rather than as your whole personality.
Because two people with the same Life Path can be born on very different days, the Birthday number helps explain why they still come across differently.
How to calculate your Birthday Number
- Take the day of the month you were born (1 to 31).
- If it is 10 or higher, add the two digits together.
- If the result is still above 9, add again, but keep 11 and 22.
Worked example: Born on the 27th of any month
- Day: 27 → 2 + 7 = 9
Result: Birthday number 9

No. The Birthday number uses only the day you were born. The Life Path uses the full date: day, month and year.

Yes. 2 + 9 = 11, so people born on the 29th, like those born on the 11th, have a Birthday number of 11.
Which Birthday number is the luckiest?
Numerology does not rank Birthday numbers as lucky or unlucky. Each one describes a different kind of strength.
